Summer 2017 Where Have You Gone?

Wait. Wait. Where did the summer go? Weren’t we just celebrating Memorial Day and the Summer Solstice? And now here we are heading into Labor Day Weekend. I guess as the saying goes, time flies when you are having fun. Well I would like to go on record saying that this summer was a blur and although it was filled with weddings, trips and friends, it felt a little off. Was it just me?

Maybe it was the eclipse, maybe it was the hotter than normal temperatures or simply my current place in life but I feel like I could use a do-over on Summer 2017.

Don’t get me wrong, there were some definite highlights like the above mentioned weddings in various states, fun events with Wedgwood at the Atlanta America’s Mart, spending time with family and friends – also in various states, working with new fabulous clients on rewarding projects, my candle line launch and of course my birthday! But as summers go something was missing. That free-spirited energy that usually fills the long summer days and warm nights. That promise of something excited is just about to happen.

So without the ability to time travel and get a do-over on Summer 2017 I am left with, “what do I do about it now”? Can I save Summer 2017?

For an answer I looked to a few great minds {warning some explicit language is used…}::

“Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.” – @JTimberlake Click To Tweet “You can spend months analyzing a situation or you can move the fuck on.” #TupacShakur Click To Tweet “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, #TheGreatGatsby Click To Tweet

And as I ponder the meaning of all this, I remind myself that while August is over and Labor Day Weekend is upon us, there are still technically three weeks left in Summer 2017 and 3 weeks can be life changing.

Perhaps the best of, the meaning of, the spark of, Summer 2017 has yet to reveal itself to us. Perhaps the answer lies in September 2017.

And with that I offer you, The September 2017 Calendar! Full of seasonally inspired reminders, tips and ways to live well this month no matter if you are holding onto Summer 2017 or ready to move on to Autumn 2017.

Download it, print it, pin it and please let me know in the comments how you are spending the last weeks of summer 2017 {OR if you are more than ready to move on to Fall 2017}!

Cheers to living well!
