Hello Summer Sisters!!
I am just back from spending time with family and friends in PA + the Jersey Shore. Such a great trip! It was so wonderful to be able to take a few extra days before and after my cousin’s beach wedding weekend to enjoy the early summer weather in Bucks County, PA. The gardens were just hitting their peak and the grass could not have been greener! The sights, sounds and smells of summer in the Northeast… Instagram simply does not do it justice.
So instead of trying to capture every moment on social media I made a decision to leave my phone behind most days and truly be in the moment. Talking with family in a beach chair circle. Catching up with friends at kitchen tables, on patios and porches. And even though I didn’t document each move on Facebook, it did actually happen and it was great! I highly recommend trying it over your summer trips. Real life is awesome.
So where are you spending your time this summer?
If you have a moment head over to the Facebook Page let me know. I would LOVE it!
No trips planned? Staying close to home?
Stay-cations are not only a trend they can be good for the soul. Take some time to bond with your home through over-due home projects, invite friends over for dinner or brunch and simply enjoy the surroundings you work so hard all year for. Before you send out that invite I have a few seasonal summer home style tips for you. See more here.
Up for a road trip but not sure where? Join me in Atlanta!
Join me during the July 2017 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market in the Waterford Wedgwood Showroom. I will be on hand showcasing their new gorgeous Wonderlust tea and giftware collection, talking about the benefits of tea and sampling hot + cold brew tea from the collection.
No matter if you are heading to Paris for the Summer season {seriously, it seems everyone I know is heading or just getting back from there}, staying close to home or gassing up and heading to ATL, I hope you take a few moments to stop and smell the roses along the way and soak in the glory of the present.
Wishing you lots of cold lemonade + sunny days ~
XO ~ Krayl “summer lovin’ “ Funch
