Inspiration, Tips and Resources for a productive and rewarding time at home.
14 days of constructive and sometimes indulgent ways to make the most of your time while Staying at Home.
Stay at Home for how many days?
We can, and need to all do our part to stay home to flatten the curve and lessen the impact of this virus. I know for some it will not be easy, for others it will be a piece of cake.
Once you accept you are safer at home, your options are
A – complain, let the time pass and end up on the other side with no changes made
B – embrace it, use it as a time to get things done and make the most of this time
I KNOW you picked option B right! Ok so let’s do this and do it well!
If you are in the same situation as I am, you most likely have already been home for 14 days or more, and the reality has set it. You are all caught up on your Netflix and Amazon series and the hours of the day are somehow flying by spending cooking 3 meals of the day, cleaning non stop and checking the clock for 5PM happy hour.
A about a week in I started thinking, how do I want to look back on this time and feel about it. How do I want to be and feel at the “end”. Honestly I am still working on this, but what I do know is that I don’t want it to all to pass without marking or using the time in someway.
With this in mind I started making lists of things I wanted to accomplish – getting projects done around the house, getting back to and starting new wellness practices I haven’t had the time for in my “busy” life, and really evaluating how my life and business will align with this new normal.
I began to wonder if perhaps I wasn’t alone in this thinking, perhaps there are others that might find value in a similar process.
And so, I have created the Dwell Well Mini-Series 14 Days of daily inspiration, tips and resources to not only “get you through” the next 14 days but to get through it well!
A daily series to encourage and inspire you to bring moments of calm, peacefulness, and beauty to your home, life and personal environment now and any time in the future you feel you need a little extra inspiration.
And so for the next 14 days let’s make the most of it and get a few projects done around the house, get back on that yoga mat, take that class you have been meaning to, find new ways to appreciate the beauty around us and make our homes places we actually want to be confined to (for at least the short term)!
Please join me on this journey as we find our way in this new world.
