I recently had a chance to sit and chat with one of my favorite creative female entrepreneurs, Allison De Meulder, as a guest on her new podcast “Emerson Built That”.
I could have talked with her for hours, about passion projects, interior design, book writing and the importance of being authentic, but luckily for you Allison has edited it down keeping all the good stuff of course, and it is perfect to listen to on your morning walk, lunch break or during happy hour with your girlfriends!

About Allison De Meulder, Founder of the Emerson Built It Podcast.
At 23 Allison used her wanderlust to build a company from the ground up with no start up capital, and never taking a dime from any other source. In 1999 she started an Ecommerce company, and was a pioneer in the online invitation industry. In 2017, she sold the Ecommerce company and began the search for her next project!
Through speaking engagements, consulting, and writing a book she has taken her experience, passion and mistakes and built a voice that resonates with others who are aspiring to start a business, thinking about selling a business, and all of the fun times in between.
During 2020 her covid passion project, the “Emerson Built That” podcast was launched!
The podcast features Allison mentor style approach to discussing entrepreneurship from an honest perspective. Previous show topics include building company culture, mentoring & empowering teams, change management, and her passion for startup power.
Her approach is simple, let’s talk through it. “No fluff, no frills, just real talk…and that’s how I built my products, company culture, brand….and companies.”
