I’m so thrilled to have one of my recent projects featured in the April / May 2018 edition of Tampa Bay METRO magazine! Although we all know it should happen every day … Mother’s Day is that one day a year we come together to celebrate the Mom’s in our lives. This year show your Mom, your sister, your BFF, and any other “Mom’s” in your life how much you value everything they do for us during the rest of the year by hosting a tea party in your home for them. In my “7 Tips For Hosting a Mother’s Day Tea” article I share a Mother’s Day tablescape ready for a lovely tea party just for mom. Complete with tea sandwiches, tea roses and an assortment of loose teas it is easy to pull together and sure to bring a smile to our favorite ladies face!
Here’s a peek…
Mother’s Day Tea Tip #3. Instead of a standard floral centerpiece, decorate the table with teapots, creamers, or even extra tea cups, filled with flowers. This keeps the theme consistent not to mention it looks super cute!
Mother’s Day Tea Tip #5. Offer Mom and her guests an assortment of loose teas to choose from. Consider one from each category such as white, green or black. Or get more creative and offer varieties that include notes of Mom’s favorite flowers such as lavender, or her favorite spices such as cinnamon or cloves. Be sure to label each selection.
